Clay creasing tiles
Clay creasing tiles are thin, flat tiles laid like a very thin brick to throw rainwater off walls, sills and chimneys. Tudor makes them by hand to the same standard as our roof tiles, with low water absorption and high strength, in any size and thickness.

Where clay creasing tiles are used
Creasing tiles have long been used to shed rainwater and keep damp out of walls and chimneys. Laid in courses, they make cappings and copings on top of walls, and projecting drip sills under windows.
They are also used for looks: a band of creasing tiles adds character to brick and stone buildings.
Made to order
Creasing tiles are made the same way as our plain tiles, then used more like a very thin brick. Their low water porosity and high strength make them ideal wherever weather needs throwing clear, including on external walls.
They are made to order in the size and thickness you need. Tell us what you need.
