Rustic Red roof tiles
Rustic Red roof tiles are part of Tudor’s Romney urban colours. A Kent sand is pressed into the face of each tile before firing, which gives a red orange tone in keeping with handmade tiles of old.

What Rustic Red looks like
Rustic Red has a red orange tone. Because every tile is pressed by hand, no two are quite the same shade, so a Rustic Red roof reads as one colour with a gentle, natural variation rather than a flat finish.
How Rustic Red tiles get their colour
A Kent sand is pressed into the face of each tile before firing. Fired, it gives a red-orange tone.
Made for towns and cities
Rustic Red and Russet Brown make up our Romney colours, developed for urban roofscapes, where new roofs sit among older town houses.
