Red Antique roof tiles
Red Antique roof tiles are part of Tudor’s Traditional range. A coarser grain of Kent sand than our Sussex colours is pressed into the face of each tile before firing, which gives a mid red tone in keeping with handmade tiles of old.

What Red Antique looks like
Red Antique has a mid red tone. Because every tile is pressed by hand, no two are quite the same shade, so a Red Antique roof reads as one colour with a gentle, natural variation rather than a flat finish.
How Red Antique tiles get their colour
A coarser grain of Kent sand than our Sussex colours is pressed into the face of each tile before firing. Fired, it turns a rich mid red.
Medium Antique, Dark Antique, Red Antique, Jubilee and Weathered Earth make up the Traditional range. Sussex Red and Sussex Brown complement it. Red Antique is the red of the Antique colours.
