Chris has joined the sales team at Tudor and brings with him exceptional tile manufacturing experience and a keen customer focus.
After leaving school he first did a modern appreciation as a heavy goods vehicle mechanic before he moved on in June 2000 to start working at Tudor. After his initial induction, he settled into his job within the kiln team.
This involved not only placing the raw clay tiles into the kiln, but also taking them out of the kiln at the same time as inspecting each tile for quality before packaging the good tiles onto pallets ready for despatch.
Within 2 years his ability to learn many technical aspects of the kiln and the tiles saw Chris moving up the ladder from 'shop floor' to management when he accepted the role of shift supervisor on the kiln.
Since then, Chris has continued to develop a high level of knowledge of Tudor's manufacturing, and with his sociable personality, we believe he will be a good representative for both his customers and for Tudor.
In his own words, Chris says "I feel privileged to have been taken on as a Sales Manager at Tudor. It’s only been a week so far but I’m really enjoying learning about this side of the business. I hope that the knowledge I’ve gained in the factory will be an asset to me and my customers going forward".
